The Horse-Human Connection: HEAL's 8
Keys to Relationship
HEAL’s 8 Keys to Relationship provide students with
a roadmap to feeling-based relationships and in
reality that means most relationships! The HEAL
Model of Equine-Facilitated Learning is a practical
and transformative blend of mindfulness, psychology
and mind-body awareness. This model is well
supported by the new discoveries in neuroscience
having to do with measurable changes in the brain
when we heal outdated relationship patterns and
effectively “re-write our history” by developing new
patterns of relating to others in the present. Not
surprisingly, the horses are the most fantastic
teachers for this and we’ll spend lots of time with
them to put principles into practice!
Note: This workshop approaches EFP/L from both a
cognitive and an experiential level. Participants
will learn about EFP/L and how it works; they
will also experience EFL to find out that it
works. This workshop is best for professionals and
others who are interested in finding out more about
EFP/L and who might be interested in incorporating
horse work into their own profession in some way.
